to Independence Works
We are a network of highly experienced independent occupational therapists/case managers who specialise in the rehabilitation of people who have suffered serious injuries and are finding it difficult to return to work or study. Some of our team specialise in catastrophic or life changing injuries.
Collectively we have a very wide range of expertise. We work collaboratively and share clinical knowledge among the group, both for our general professional development as well as to support our specific casework.
Independence Works is a limited company by guarantee on a not-for-profit basis.

Information regarding coronavirus – updated Nov 2021
During the current coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the health, well-being and safety of our clients, customers, members and staff is our top priority. We are monitoring this fast developing situation very closely and continue to follow the advice of the government and the relevant public health authorities across the UK.
As a business, we remain open and are operating on a ‘business as usual’ basis. We can continue to help our customers and clients during these times. Our panel of case managers can work on a remote basis using virtual assessment and contact methods to minimise the risk of virus transmission. Where face to face meetings are considered clinically and professionally appropriate, all necessary steps will be taken to safeguard all parties (following the most recent government advice).
We are confident we can continue to offer support, manage a client’s rehabilitation needs and continue to provide our services, virtually where this is appropriate.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at email@example.com or call us on 0333 566 0014.
